Castello di Semivicoli Trebbiano d Abruzzo 2008 Discount

Description
The story of Trebbiano d Abruzzo by Masciarelli starts in San Martino della Marrucina, a small village 420 meters above sea level, nestled between the hills of Majella park and the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Here the limestone soils, characterized by a strong mineral component, and the microclimate, marked by strong temperature fluctuations between day and night, create the ideal conditions for ripening the grapes typically located in Abruzzo, whose rows live together with the olive trees in a unique habitat. Once not considered at all among the noble grape varieties, just in Abruzzo Trebbiano has found an ideal ecosystem, whose results are relevant to both young wines and aged ones (these latter showing an extraordinary longevity). Masciarelli has decided to propose, in this case, a fresh and immediate version, not aged in barrels, able to release its aromatic complexity straight from the beginning, playing with fragrant notes of exotic fruit and spicy tips. And for all this, perhaps, this Trebbiano is primarily a wine of Masciarelli, even before than a wine of Abruzzo.
